The city life has become a fast paced life for all of us. Trying to juggle all things in a day and concentrating on your career may be leaving you with no time for yourself. If you are constantly working under pressure all the time, your body takes the brunt. It is infact the immunity of your system and your health that helps you take the pressure in your stride and go on with life. Those who live a healthy life and have cultivated good habits will find themselves being able to cope up and continue the pace for a number of years. When we say daily habits, we mean your day to day style of living. A balanced diet will consist of appropriate combinations of pulses, grains, vegetables, fruits as well as meat and diary products which provide the body with all the nutritional requirement. Home food and freshly cooked food is the best for daily diet and it is better to avoid eating out as well as eating junk food which is not good for our body and health.


Along with food, it is essential for everyone to have sufficient physical exercise too . Physical exercise enables the body parts to maintain their flexibility besides helping burn the calories that we consume and thus avoid fat accumulation.

Another important factor is to ensure that you sleep well for at least eight hours daily. A good nights rest and sleep recharges our mind and body and gives us the energy to be active the next day.

Apart from your diet and sleep, maintaining personal hygiene especially good dental hygiene is also very important. Most often we tend to ignore oral hygiene. But this is the most important area which can get affected with bacteria and fungus. Besides being painful, dental infections can make you feel uncomfortable as well as make you look horrible which you will not like.

Brushing twice daily using a toothpaste containing fluoride is a must for everyone. Besides brushing, dental flossing would also be required to help remove the food particles that are wedged in between the teeth. Rinsing and gurgling using water after completing a meal is very important as it cleans your mouth off all food particles which can decay and attract bacteria if left undisturbed.


Looking good and well groomed is an important aspect of your career. When you are interacting in public you do come close to a lot of people and have conversations. Therefore you cannot afford to have bad breath. By drinking plenty of liquids and consuming at least two to three liters of water everyday you can eliminate bad breath. With the liquid intake, the bacteria gets washed out from your body along with other toxins, as well as keeps you well hydrated and with glowing skin. Get into the habit of carrying a small mouth wash bottle in your bad and use it to rinse your mouth just before you head for the meeting so that your breadth smells fresh and good.

If you follow some of these daily habits and adapt discipline you will find no difficulty in being able to go through the day and will be energetic at all times.
